Systematic Review of Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Cost Analysis for Pavement and a Case Study

Development of the pavement network systems, which is inevitable due to rapid economic growth, has increasingly become a topic significant concern because severe environmental impacts road expansion. For achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs), policies and actions towards pavements’ life cycle assessment (LCA) cost analysis (LCCA) must be carefully assessed. Consequently, purpose this review present an overview LCA LCCA used in engineering management. Through quality control PRISMA, fifty-five most relevant documents were extracted for thorough investigation. The state art reveals that limited number papers considered pavements. assess impact cost, conceptual framework was developed better consider on various aspects projects including sustainability aspects. Besides, case study given validate literature proposing novel incorporation cost.
